The Future of the USAID DHS Program

The Population Reference Bureau recently released a report called "Collaborating for Action on the Future of Demographic and Health Surveys." It summarizes discussions held in May about the USAID's Demographic and Health Surveys.
DRP volunteers, who have fielded researcher questions about these surveys, were
honored to participate. The report outlines the impact of funding cuts, the
program’s status, and future solutions.
While the Data Rescue Project primarily focuses on the rescue and preservation of data, conversations across sectors and areas of expertise are critical. They allow us to share information with our constituents so that they can stay abreast and take action if possible. We are grateful to the Population Reference Bureau for including us and their work on behalf of public data.
You can join our DRP member conversations every other week starting July 9. Register to attend and join the movement to protect public data!
