The daffodils by me are finally starting to sprout — the first sign that spring is truly approaching. As we transition from winter, there are a host of exciting events on the horizon. Here are just a few!

  1. March 4, 12pm Eastern — DRP Office Hours: We're discussing the World Factbook rescue, including preservation of previous iterations and potential future directions. (Read more in our recent guest post from Christopher Marcum)
  2. March 18 — Office Hours cancelled: Members of the DRP (and maybe some of you!) will be in San Francisco for a data rescue convening hosted by the Internet Archive. Stay tuned for a full report.
  3. April 1, 2pm Eastern — Office Hours: Teaching with Federal Data: How are you using federal data in instruction? Bring successes, challenges, ideas, and questions. No fools here!

Finally, we invite you to submit ideas for future Office Hours — whether that's questions, updates, or topics to commiserate on. Let us know what you'd like to discuss and we'll make it happen.
