A Year Ago ...
We are observing a bittersweet anniversary next week. From a positive angle, DRP has been part of an incredible community of public data advocates and volunteers. We are thankful for all of the wonderful people. But of course, "We should not be doing this," as Jessica Mahr of Environmental Policy Innovation Center noted in a recent article in Time Magazine.
To recognize the journey we have been on together since the CDC data was initially removed, Data Index is hosting a webinar called "The Day Federal Data Went Dark." DRP will join a number of organizations to discuss what we have accomplished and our plans for 2026. We hope to see many familiar faces there!
