Updates from the SaveOurSigns Campaign
Join us on September 17 to learn more about Save Our Signs!
The #SaveOurSigns Campaign is a wonderful example of the power and importance of crowdsourced projects. The team has received almost 8000 photos from over 300 sites! The goals are to raise awareness about threats to information about our past and to engage the public in history projects. We have been successful on both accounts thanks to the efforts of all the SOS volunteers.
The #SaveOurSigns team has also created a new Project Updates page to provide some context and information as we approach the September 17 deadline for review of signage. They will make updates to that page in the weeks to come, so be sure to check back!
The team will also be attending our Data Rescue Project office hours on September 17. Come and meet the organizers, ask questions, and learn more about the campaign.
