Updates for January 2026
Welcome to 2026 data rescuers! We missed you. We are back in full swing after a refreshing break. 2026 has undoubtedly been more lion than lamb, but we are ready and raring.
We have a few updates for this month:
- Office hours
- We will hold some office hours after work hours (eastern time) this year. The first one is Thursday, January 15, at 7:00 PM Eastern. Register to attend.
- The following office hour will be on January 28 at 4:30 PM. Register to attend.
- Google Cal
- Don’t forget that we have a public DRP Google Cal. You can check out our office hours and track the places where we are presenting, in case we are in a city near you!
- DRP Ask Me Anything!
- DRP Steering Committee Retreat
- Our DRP Steering Committee will convene in Philadelphia (Go Birds 🦅) at the end of January for an inaugural retreat. We will meet as a group for the first time and use our weekend to discuss future goals for DRP. Expect pictures, plans, and general data rescue mayhem.
