The DRP Steering Committee is delighted to announce (officially!) that the Data Rescue Project has been selected to receive the 2026 ProQuest/GODORT/ALA "Documents to the People" Award. We are honored to receive this award, and are so grateful to all of the nominators.

The Government Documents Round Table (GODORT) is a forum for librarians working with government documents who are members of the American Library Association (ALA). We are joining an illustrious group of people and organizations who have received the Documents to the People award, including the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, Free Government Information, and many more.

This Sunday, June 28th, we will officially receive the award at the GODORT reception. If you’re in Chicago for ALA Annual, let us know! We would love to celebrate with you!
